Disclaimer: I am neither a Nazi nor their sympathizer. This post is mainly about the song “Erika” which was written and composed (unfortunately, though) during the height of Nazi Germany. It’s quite amusing to notice how romantic the song is, in spite of being used as Waffen SS march song. This song was heard by me for the very first time in Schindler’s List movie during a scene where there were soldiers marching in the street, accompanied by children. The scene was followed by the scene where a rude German soldier cutting the hair of a Jew and make fun of it among his comrades.

Setting aside the atrocities of the waffen SS and also their war crimes, this song is lovely and the beat is catchy and easy-going though.

The Song – Erika (lyrics from wikipedia, English version)

1. Auf der Heide blüht ein kleines Blümelein
Und das heißt: Erika.
Heiß von hunderttausend kleinen Bienelein
Wird umschwärmt Erika.
Denn ihr Herz ist voller Süßigkeit,
Zarter Duft entströmt dem Blütenkleid
Auf der Heide blüht ein kleines Blümelein
Und das heißt: Erika.
2. In der Heimat wohnt ein Blondes Mägdelein
Und das heißt: Erika.
Dieses Mädel ist mein treues Schätzelein
Und mein Glück, Erika.
Wenn das Heidekraut rot-lila blüht,
Singe ich zum Gruß ihr dieses Lied.
Auf der Heide blüht ein kleines Blümelein
Und das heißt: Erika.
3. In mein’m Kämmerlein blüht auch ein Blümelein
Und das heißt: Erika.
Schon beim Morgengrau’n sowie beim Dämmerschein
Schaut’s mich an, Erika.
Und dann ist es mir, als spräch’ es laut:
Denkst du auch an deine kleine Braut?
In der Heimat weint um dich ein Mägdelein
Und das heißt: Erika.

English words

1. On the heath there grows a little flower
And its name is Erika
A hundred thousand little bees
Swarm around Erika
Because her heart is full of sweetness,
Her flowery dress gives off a tender scent
On the heath there grows a little flower
And its name is Erika
2. In the homeland lives a little farm maid
And her name is Erika
This girl is my true treasure
And my luck, Erika
When the flower on the heath blooms lilac red,
I sing her this song in greeting.
On the heath there grows a little flower
And its name is Erika
3. Another little flower blooms in my small room
And its name is Erika
In the first rays of the morning and in the twilight
It looks at me, Erika
And it seems to me it speaks aloud:
Are you still thinking of your little bride?
Back home a farm maid weeps for you
And her name is Erika

I pity the Jews and also other races (including the Germans, Italians, Japanese, Russians, Chinese and also Malays etc) who suffered from the war. World War 2 has left us with very much grief, regrets and also lessons to be learned. Even though the Jews suffered from the atrocities made by the Nazi Germany, but this does not justify the atrocities that the Zionists had done upon the Arabs (Muslims and non-Muslims alike) in the Palestine. Lest we forget. It was the racial superiority sentiment (Aryan race) that caused the Nazi Germany to instigate the war. The same goes to the Palestinian conflict, where the Zionist Jews consider themselves superior than other races. The future Khilafah will deal with them and return the rights to the oppressed Palestinian people. Insya Allah, the time is near. Beware, Zionist Jews!

Erika (Auf der Heide blüht ein kleines Blümelein) was the marching song of the Waffen SS. The song was composed by Herms Niel in 1939. Its use is banned in the current Bundeswehr. The song is popular among Italian neofascists. Name “Erika” had been derived from the heather plant (German: Heide, Erika; Latin : Erica). Vast heather-yards are one of the proud symbols of german natural heritage.

so sweet la lagu ni…

Setuju…

Apapun terima kasih ‘me’ atas komentar yang diberikan…

Sikap Kita Terhadap Sesama Daie

Reminder to All Muslims around the World

“Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight – are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision (ie. Torment): and Allah guides not the rebellious.” [TMQ Surah At-Tawbah: 24]
